Overview
The Butlers oil field was discovered in June 2009 with the drilling of the Butlers-1 well. Production from the field commenced in December 2009.
Production from the Butlers oilfield is exported via a flowline to the Callowonga oilfield facilities and then into the Callawonga - Tantanna pipeline. Facilities at the Butlers Oilfield are currently being upgraded to accommodate additional production from the Butlers-2, 3 and 4 development wells which were drilled in 2011.
